How Simple Accidents Can Turn Into Lifelong Pain -- The 7 Most Painful Mistakes You Can Make If You Have Been Injured In An Auto Accident ...

As you can see, I've attached a Band-Aid to the top of this special report.band aid.gif

I did that to illustrate a very important fact:  Each year, right here in Kansas City,  thousands of people experience auto accidents that will eventually lead to pain and health problems that deeply affect their joy and happiness -- yet they put a Band-Aid over their problem and never get it fully taken care of.

For example: They might just want to forget the accident ever happened -- or mask the pain by popping a few Aspirins or muscle relaxants -- or worse yet, they ignore their injuries and simply hope it'll all go away.  This makes me go crazy.  As Director of one of the largest offices in the area, I see this happening every day -- yet the sad fact is most of this suffering and fear is totally unnecessary.

I have access to tons of research studies that prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that after most so-called "minor accidents", many people have suffered significant structural changes yet the real pain and disability often doesn't appear for weeks, months, or even years.

If you would like to receive a complete consultation and evaluation, CLICK HERE  to print a $30.00 New Patient Certificate.  Then simply give us a call at 913-227-0056 and my staff will schedule an appointment for you.  If you've been in an auto accident recently it is imperative that you call immediately.  We have found that the quicker you receive your care the better your long-term prognosis is.  Delaying the proper care for your injuries is the surest way to create a chronic, disabling condition.

Best wishes in your health.  I'm only a phone call away.

Sincerely,

Painful Mistake #1:  Failing to seek immediate medical treatment after an accident

I see patients every day who say to me, "Gee, if only I had gotten this problem taken care of sooner, I wouldn't be in so much pain today."  Ever since I first heard those words uttered, I've made it my mission to help every accident victim that I can.

Did you know that every year 1 out of 10 people will be involved in an auto accident?  Did you know that over 50% of all accidents lead to CHRONIC and LONG TERM INJURIES?   The amazing truth is, and research proves this, most people don't experience immediate pain.  Most of the pain that results from an automobile accident, especially rear end accidents, doesn't show up for days.  You may ask "How can this be so? In any other type of injury I would feel immediate pain.  How can a car accident be different?"   The answer is twofold and can be quite complicated but I will do my best to explain this for you.  First off there is no other phenomenon quite like a car accident.  The vehicles weigh thousands of pounds and create a great deal of force.  The force of these accidents can be quite large, and to top it off most accidents happen very quickly -- like in 3 one hundredths of a second -- this is faster than we humans can react.  Since the accident takes place faster than your body can react, your nervous system temporarily short circuits.  Oftentimes it takes several days for your body and nervous system to realize what has happened to it.  Once your body figures out it has been injured it goes into what I call "protective mode".  This is where your muscles tighten up and it becomes increasingly difficult to move without pain.  Your body now realizes it has been injured and it would rather you not do it again -- so it protects your joints and keeps you from moving very fast where you might do more damage.  The best time to correct this is before this "protective mode" kicks in.  If it is already too late for you, there is still hope for correction but the longer you delay your care the more you increase your odds of living with a chronic, disabling, condition.  The second, and often most confusing, reason why injuries from car accidents don't immediately show up is this.  Due to many unique factors, these injuries are not your classic "sprain / strain" type of injuries.  This is a very complicated subject and much too involved for this report but suffice it to say injuries from motor vehicle accidents are caused more from "jamming and pinching" than from "stretching and tearing".

If you have been involved in an auto accident it's crazy not to get a complete examination from a doctor who is a trained pain relief specialist.  What's the worst that can happen?  He or she says, "no problems!"  But the best that can happen is we find a minor or major damage and get it successfully corrected now not 6 or 7 months from now when it's creating excruciating agony and pain.

Not seeking treatment from a specialist is accident victim’s mistake #1!

Painful Mistake #2:  Taking aspirin to "hide" your pain and injury

This is one of the top "deadly sins" of health.  After you've been in an accident, if your body is shooting off messages of pain, it's like a messenger boy trying to warn you of an impending storm!  To turn away and ignore the messenger boys' message....even worse, to gag him and lock him in the closet....well that's just silly.

Yet do you know this is exactly what happens to millions of American's every day?  A person gets hit from behind and experiences whiplash, and soon thereafter they feel pain in their neck and shoulders, maybe even in their low back.  They often "gag" the pain signal by popping an aspirin.  Like ignoring the messenger boy's cry of warning.

If you're experiencing pain on a regular or even infrequent basis, and you've been taking pain medication or muscle relaxants to "gag" the pain signal, this might be costing you a lot of happiness, joy, and freedom in your life.  The solution is simple: don't shoot the messenger.  Take action on the pain signal your body sends you, by treating the root cause......

Painful Mistake #3:  Not treating the root source of your pain after an accident

Do you know that most non-specialist doctors think that the way you treat an accidental injury to your neck and back is to pump you full of drugs?  That's like taking a shot of whiskey to cure a headache.  Just doesn't work to solve the problem! (Only hides the problem for a few hours.  This is what drugs do.  After the drugs wear off, you've still got the problem.)  Do you know that to the doctor not trained in the science of neck and back pain relief management, that many of them falsely believe that such recurring pain can be treated (or "cured") by popping a few pills and POOF! magically everything will be okay?  I hope you recognize the flaw in this thinking.

The human body is amazing.  It's the perfect machine.  Your heart beats over 100,000 times a day and yet you don't even notice it consciously!  Your internal systems run flawlessly without you even noticing.  (Well, that is until we muck it up by ingesting harmful foods.  But that is another discussion.)

Here's the point: Your body was not meant to ingest foreign substances to "cure" its accident-related injuries.  Injuries caused in motor vehicle accidents mainly involve the joints of your neck and back.  These joints have to move freely for your body to function properly.  Taking a pill to stop a pain signal only masks the signal - it does NOT solve your problem at its root cause - - it does not restore function to your injured joints.  The proper treatment for these unique injuries must involve restoring normal movement and function to your neck and back.  Anything less than that will most certainly result in unnecessary long-term pain and discomfort.

In my clinic, I put 100% of my focus on reducing your pain by focusing on the root source, or cause of all your pain.  This approach has helped hundreds of people get well again, people who thought they never could.

Painful Mistake #4:  Not consulting with a skilled expert who specializes in the fast, effective pain relief of your injuries

It's very difficult to find a doctor who is trained in the science of neck and back pain relief.  In fact, I am a leading expert in this area.  I have written reports and papers on ending pain and reducing the discomfort of my patients, and I have an outstanding track record treating even the "hardest" cases.

You need to seek a thoroughly trained doctor who:

#1: Understands accident related injuries and knows the "hidden" signs that predict if serious injury exists.

#2: Understands effective methods to treat accident related injuries that are pain free and surgery free.

#3: Understands how to treat your injuries at their root cause.

#4: Continually studies and learns about the latest discoveries in pain relief and the rehabilitation of accident related injuries.

I have extensive experience in all four areas and in your search for a health professional, I'd demand that all four be present - otherwise you're probably dealing with someone who has the best of intentions...but cannot ultimately correct the "root cause" of your pain and discomfort.  Simply controlling your pain with medication is one thing; correcting your problem so you do not suffer needlessly months and years from now is the right thing.

Painful Mistake #5:  Failing to take immediate action when your body sends you a "pain signal" after an accident

The #1 failure trait in people who have been involved in an accident or injury that causes pain, is not taking immediate action on these "pain signals."  The longer you wait, the closer the storm is to hitting the shoreline.  The longer you try to ignore the pain in your body, the more you are getting into deep water.  The longer you delay in seeing a specialist who understands what is happening in your body, the closer you get to the "big day of reckoning."

Here's what the "big day of reckoning" is: this happens after your body has repeatedly sent you pain signals....warning signs....that something isn't right, and you've chosen to ignore them. Well, one day you'll bend down to lift a box and WHAM!, that's when something terrible happens.  Your "day of reckoning."  This happens in most every case sooner or later.  (And it is usually sooner.)  This also happens to people involved in accidents who feel totally fine.  Damage has occurred but they didn't even know it.  Your body remembers all of these injuries.  The "big day of reckoning" can strike at any moment.  It's always unexpected.  And many times too late to do much about, except after extensive treatment and rehabilitation.  The good news is, all this can be avoided if you get an early examination and check-up after every accident, from a trained specialist, like the doctors at our office.

Now that you have this report, you can avoid this.  Now you know there are solutions for you.  Now you know that I'm just a short drive or call away.  If you choose to ignore the information I've given you, prepare for your "day of reckoning".

Painful Mistake #6:  Not knowing the best ways to save money on health care treatment, even having 100% of your bills paid!

Most people think that treatment from a specialist has to be "expensive".  Oftentimes if you've been involved in an auto accident, automobile insurance will cover 100% of your doctor's bills!  (Not in all circumstances, but most of the time this is the case.  Call (913) 227-0056 and we'll advise you about your options.)  In any case the treatment we provide can be made affordable to anyone.

Painful Mistake #7:  Confusing what is urgent with what is really important

Now that you know what you know, you must schedule an initial consultation with our office, the worst and most unforgivable "sin" is not to act on your new knowledge and understanding of your problem!  Okay. I've talked about how urgent and important it is to get an examination following any accident.  I've talked about how a car accident is like no other injury you can have, I’ve talked about the importance of listening to your body's pain signals.  I've talked about treating the "root cause" of the pain, and I've discussed how our services can be made affordable to nearly anyone needing treatment.  I even offer a free initial consultation.  So, there's no reason that everyone reading this, who's ever had health problems shouldn't immediately come in.

Yet, I know from experience that only a percentage of my readers will come in to get help.  Why?  How could it be that someone who could be in pain right now, even as they're reading this, would procrastinate and not come in even though I have made it ridiculously easy?  The answer, my friend, is simple: most people confuse what's urgent.... with what is most important.

The most important thing you could do is pick up the phone right now and call my office to get scheduled for your free consultation.  Even if you feel 100% healthy.  Why wouldn't you, after all it's free!  Yet, I know that people's lives are controlled by what's most urgent, NOT what's the most important.

This is the primary failure trait of most unhappy people.  They spend their entire lives on the treadmill, chasing after what's most urgent in the moment, and never taking action on what is most important.

I know that you are not like this, otherwise you wouldn't have taken time out of your busy schedule to read this valuable report.  Make sure you schedule a consultation and exam following any and every accident you experience - and make it a BIG priority in the next 24 hours, not something you'll do "when you get around to it."  Hopefully a little "positive nagging" from me will change your life.  That's what I'm hoping for.

If you've read this far, it's now time to call my office and schedule your free consultation.    We look at all our patients as dear friends.  And, unlike other business or professionals who treat you like a second class citizen, we make sure you stay healthy throughout your life.  This is why we get so many referrals.  Call now, while you're thinking about this, at (913) 227-0056. Knowing what to do, but still resisting getting help - that must be the greatest mistake of all:

One definition of insanity is: Doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting to get a different result.  Lee Iacocca said that the trait he most admired in all leaders was the ability to make a decision.  The most successful people in our society are those that take action.  I hope that I've shed light on the problems of accidents and how they can lead to big problems if left untreated.  I can be available for any assistance or questions, so please call me anytime at (913) 227-0056.  Nothing is more important than your health.  Nothing is more important to your family than seeing you happy, vibrant, alive and free from the shackles of a life of pain.  In this report, you have been given a new alternative to living life the "old way".

You know what to do.  I hope I've been persuasive in convincing you to take action now to get this problem solved.  Now it's up to you.

Yours in Health,
