How Much Does It Cost?:  Our office fees vary.  Depending on your condition and it's severity several procedures may be performed on your first visit.  Take advantage of our NEW PATIENT COUPON and your first visit will be discounted 20%.  This will significantly reduce the cost of your care.  Our standard office visit fees are reasonable and customary for the Kansas City area.  Rest assured we will fully discuss all fees before beginning your treatment plan. If you have health insurance we are preferred providers with many managed care organizations.  As a convenience we will bill your insurance for you.  If you were injured in a car collision your bills will most likely be covered 100%. If you don't have insurance or you have limited coverage we will work with you to create a budgeted plan that will allow you to receive the care you need and deserve.

Are Chiropractic Treatments Safe?: Chiropractic has been practiced for over 100 years and has a track record of being the safest of all healthcare professions.  The recognized experts on healthcare safety are the Malpractice Insurance Carriers.  Malpractice premiums are based upon the potential risk involved with the practitioner's treatment methods.  Chiropractic malpractice premiums are very low compared to other healthcare professions. Dr. Scott has practiced for 20 years and is completely up to date on the safest, most effective procedures.

How Well Educated are Chiropractors?: Chiropractic college and Medical college basic class hours are the same. Chiropractic students spend significantly more hours than Medical students on physiology, biomechanics and x-ray.  Medical students spend significantly more hours than Chiropractic students on pathology and pharmacology.  Click on this link: Chiropractic Education to see a comparison of actual classroom hours.

I Have Arthritis.  Should I Avoid Chiropractic Care?: There are many different types of arthritis.  A few of these do not respond well to chiropractic care.  The good news is the most common types of arthritis respond remarkably well to the gentle chiropractic care offered by Dr. Scott.  After a thorough consultation and exam, Dr. Scott will use his 20 years of experience to determine if your condition may be helped.  Don't let a catch-all diagnosis of "arthritis" stop you from getting the relief you deserve.
