Dr. Dale Scott
Personal:
Dr. Scott has lived in the Kansas
City area his entire life. He graduated from Washington High
School and Park College prior to earning his Doctor of Chiropractic
Degree at Cleveland Chiropractic College in 1984.
His
practice specialty is the evaluation and treatment of motor vehicle
collision injuries.
Dr. Scott first discovered the benefits
of chiropractic care when he experienced shoulder problems due to a
high school sports injury. His condition was not responding to
traditional orthopedic care so his father took him to a
chiropractor. In short order his shoulder problem was healed
and with it came a respect and interest in chiropractic and
functional health care.
Dr. Scott's
treatment programs are field tested. In his first few years as
a chiropractor, Dr. Scott began experiencing back and neck
pain. This was most likely due to improperly healed sports
injuries and the rigors of treating many patients. He became
discouraged when his condition did not respond to traditional
chiropractic relief care. Combining his biomechanical
expertise, sports background and current rehabilitation principles,
he controlled and eliminated his chronic conditions.
Dr.
Scott's personal experience is the foundation for his successful
treatment protocols.
He has attended many postgraduate
seminars and holds specialist status in Whiplash and Brain Injury
Traumatology
Dr.
Scott has been invited to appear on Sports Radio 810 and Fox 4 news
discussing sports evaluation and the mechanics of back pain.
Dr. Scott is often called upon as an expert witness, giving
testimony in court and depositions regarding work and automobile
related injuries.
Dr. Scott is an extension faculty member of
Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO. As an
extension faculty member, Dr. Scott helps recent graduates improve
their clinical skills.
Dr. Scott consults with attorneys,
insurance companies, local business and the community at large
providing workshops on topics such as "Auto Safety Facts" and "Whiplash Injury Mechanisms and
Treatment"
